GSM CAR CLUB OF SOUTH AFRICA

GSM CHRISTMAS PARY 2008

NEWSFLASH

We had our very successful and very good Christmas dinner where six trophies were awarded to the Parow Concourse contestants. The Judging was done by the Street Rod officials so if you won a prize, you deserved it fairly and squarely.

I think that the concourse idea is a good one. As it encourages owners to continuously improve their cars, which also enhance their investment in a classic to a large extent. The first and early club members will remember that when the Club started eight years ago, you could buy a Dart or Flamingo for very little money. That is no longer the case, and GSMs are slowly but surely reaching the kind of value and appreciation they rightly deserve in SA. Regards Piet

Lynette van der Westhuizen organized our Christmas Party this year. I also need to mention that her husband Gideon did help. What a wonderful party. The food was wonderful, the Multi Car Club hall I bet had never looked so stunning and of course the party goers were the normal friendly lot of GSMers. A big thanks to Lynette and Gideon. It is truly great to have people like this in a club.
