WHALES AND WHEELS SHOW

On the 26th September 2009 we were once again off to Hermanus for the Whales and Wheels show. Typical Cape Town weather. Four seasons in one day. Having arrived on the Friday, Peanuts and I did the normal thing and went for supper at Annie’s kitchen for an unbelievable plate of “boerekos.” Saturday morning we left for the school grounds where we met up with the rest of the GSM members. 5 Flamingos, 5 Darts and one Hayden Dart arrived at the school grounds. With the wind blowing we were unable to put up the gazebo and by 3 o’clock we packed up to go home. Some people got soaked driving their Darts. That’s why I just love my Flamingo. Whales and Wheels Show Hermanus is one of the four shows that is supported by the GSM Car Club every year.
