18 OCTOBER 2009 - PRINGLE BAY On the cold morning of the 18th October 2009 we left for a GSM outing to a restaurant that John Amm booked for us in Pringle Bay called the “Hook Line and Sinker” owned by Stephan & Jackie. He had been there before with the Jaguar Club. The restaurant can only accommodate 30 people so it was a case of first come first serve. John gave each one of us a letter to read about the history of the route we were traveling with some questions. The idea was your passenger or “navigator” had to read the letter and then answer the questions. Well, can’t say much for my navigator, Marianne Oosthuizen, because we took the wrong turn and followed a different route to the rest. Luckily we had a pit stop in Gordons Bay where we could regroup and then continue to Pringle Bay. Willie Meissner was accompanied by his in laws. Piet brought his daughter along and her family together with his great-grandson. Hopefully we will see them all again. Clive and Theresa Spolander brought their Flamingo which was new to Cape Town. The fish was absolutely fantastic and we will defiantly be going again in 2010. Four Flamingo’s went and Peanuts Dart. Good day had by all.
