NEWSFLASH - EVITA SE PERRON On the 17th July 2010 twenty two people went to Darling to watch the Evita show at Evita se Perron. We first met at the Fouche Engineering workshop where we had coffee and muffins and watched the Springboks All Blacks game. There were three Flamingos and one Dart. Thanks Zim, Martie, Willie and Tina for driving your Flamingo's. Then there was Peanuts in his Dart with his beanie on and me in my Flamingo. It's great that Willie and Tina bring their Flamingo all the way from Somerset West. Thanks guys. We arrived at Darling where we met up with Clive and Theresa and Rob and June Gay. Shame Clive, where is your Dart and Flamingo. Then we have Gideon and Lynette who have a beautiful yellow Dart. Come guys. Take your cars out and drive them. They are beautiful cars. Then there is Colin and Janine with their two beautiful and let me say, good children. Colin I hope your Flamingo and Dart will be finished soon. We know that you can fit yourself, Janine and both kids in the Flamingo. Once again the food was wonderful. I am sure everyone enjoyed the food and the show which was very good. Evita has a way of telling you about our country in a politically correct way. She can say things we can’t and get away with it. We are Proudly South Africa that's why we drive GSM cars made in South Africa. Good food, good wine, and good people. That’s what the GSM Club is all about. All we need now is to get ride of the Chryslers, the BMW’s, the Fords......etc. Thanks everyone for making this a successful GSM outing. |
