HISTORY:
It was a silver car and was sold to the first owner Pioneer Ford Port Elizabeth in March 1958 with registration no: CB 4123. Pioneer Ford were to become local GSM dealer in that area. In December 1958 Peter Bulbring became the second owner. He worked for Pioneer Ford and bought the car at cost price. The registration no became CB 6435. In the December holiday he came to the GSM factory and helped out there for 3 weeks to get to know the Darts better. He went back and stripped and rebuilt the Dart. It was also re-sprayed red. Peter circuit raced and rallied the Dart till 1961. He sold it to Winston Riggs who was now the third owner. Winston fitted a Willment overhead valve conversion to the original 100E engine. It was raced from 1961 to 1963 by Winston. Mostly on the St Albains circuit. He sold it at the end of 1963. The last time the car was seen was at Pioneer Ford Uitenhage by Peter Bulbring when it came in for a service.
