KNOWN HISTORY:
To find out about the history of this Dart
one has to read the story under the heading of Bob Wakeling. Ron
Milton bought this Dart from Len Drake in 2008. The chassis was
very rusted and badly bent so he built a new one that was as
close to the original but modified a bit to accept the Alfa 1750
engine and 5 speed gearbox. The body was in a very poor
condition having stood outside at Len Drake’s uncovered for
about 15 years. The car had been crashed and modified many
times. When Ron bought the Dart the targa top moulded into it
had been removed. Ron has spent the last year trying to get it
into the correct shape. The Dart’s body is at the stage of being
sprayed..(March 2009)
