HISTORY:
In 1966 Martin bought his first Flamingo for
R1000.00
He later sold the car privately and bought a Cortina XL (GT with
some luxury)
In 1971 Martin bought his second Flamingo for R850.00 , Martin's good friend John Damant was a previous owner of this Flamingo. This car was sold to Alwyn Oosthuizen of Port Alfred.
In July 2003
Martin bought his third Flamingo
no 64058.
In August 2003, he added two twin 40 DCOE side draught webers
(Bologna) , re-upholstered the interior in black leather with
red piping.
Martin won 2nd Overall prize, in a classics race on the
29th November 2003
held at the Scribante Race Track in Port Elizabeth.
