KNOWN HISTORY:   

Car was bought new in Johannesburg by Mr Cruikshank. The car was used regularly up to 1979. The Flamingo had a front end accident when he hit the pavement at high speed. The anti roll bar had been torn out of its mounts to the chassis. The sump was smashed in and both engine mountings torn off. Next to the chassis no #65001 is stamped SP755. The Flamingo was then parked under a tree for 10 years. Lukas bought it in 1989 and has kept the car in storage ever since. No restoration work has been done to date. (March 2009)
