HISTORY:   

In ± 1977 this Flamingo was purchased by a friend of Mr Rudi Weterman, Mr Sakkie Burger from an unknown person.  Rudi would have loved to buy the car but at the time it was not financially possible.  The car was yellow.  Sakkie restored the car and in 1979 the car was complete.  He had sprayed it red.  Sakkie then sold the car to Gert van Rooyen.  Gert then resprayed the car to metallic red.  Rudi bought the car from Gert before it slipped through his fingers the second time.  At the moment the Flamingo does not have an engine but Rudi is busy building a 1600 X/F to put in the car.
