As with last year, Martin Kruger entered his 1964 Flamingo (64058) in the "Fine Car" race category at the Southern Star Heritage Race Day held at Aldo Scribante Race Track in Port Elizabeth on 14 August 2004. He was 9th on the grid in a field of some 20 cars for the first race and then placed 7th on the grid for the second race. Martin's final overall position of 6th for the day was highly creditable in a field which included a powerful Porsche and Nissan Skyline.
